GWD Services is a specialist Central London construction company, that also covers greater London and the surrounding counties. We are Specialist in Groundworks, Civils, RC Basements and RC frames as well as Demolition and Heavy Structural Works. We also offer Shell & Core Construction and Full Turnkey Residential and Commercial Construction.

With GWD Services roots going back to 1976 in the UK construction industry.  The Dawkins family are now in their third generation in the industry.  The family 100% owns and operates GWD Services. 

With a wealth of experience learned over the previous 6 decades and 3 generations, GWD Services was a new company incorporated in 2021 after the global pandemic.  There was a clear vision to operate as lean as possible and to be as multi-disciplined and adaptive as our partners and clients require in the ever changing UK construction industry and climate.

At GWD Services we Service, Partner and Collaborate with Land & Property Owners, Developers, Principle Contractors, Principle Designers, Plus Local Authorities, Organizations & Businesses to deliver on a diverse spectrum of services in the construction and new build development sectors.

We have decades of experience working in multiple roles as: Sub-Contractors & Principle Contractors for our clients and partners. Working on both sides of the fence we understand better than many construction companies the concerns and requirements of our clients and partners, we work professionally and respectfully in both duties.

Tendering

The simple reason we can build more affordable than many other construction companies, with these savings being passed on to our clients and partners, is we keep our overheads extremely low compared to our competitors.

Also rather than traditional open or closed tendering, GWD Services have secured over 75% of their contracts to date by either: cost plus open book agreements or negotiated tendering.

This saves a lot of time and energy which discounts a further saving of typically circa 2% to any contract.

This then also allows the senior management within GWD to focus more of their time directly on projects and clients that are serious about working together and receiving the combined best value, best product, delivered in the best time.

Naturally we still competitively tender for secured works also.
